Our Foster Texas Philosophy
Foster Texas believes every child deserves to be a cherished member of a permanent family. The better we connect with the families of children who are experiencing hard times, the better chance children will have to settle in at home, return home, be placed in kinship care, become adopted, or accommodate an alternative foster home if necessary. Our Foster Texas Focus: “families serving families” as opposed to “rescuing orphans” from their families.

We believe that the restoration of disrupted relationships is essential to healing for traumatized children. Caregivers must be able to self-regulate before they can co-regulate. Caregivers must take care of the children’s physical needs and connect with them before they can respond to behavioral needs.
We at Foster Texas believe in actively maintaining a team of qualified community leaders, professionals, service organizations, and caregivers who collaboratively deliver family and children’s services with best practices. We focus on achieving well-being and permanency outcomes, safely and efficiently.
